Water: Liquid Asset

Storing rainwater is growing trend. It’s pretty amazing how much can be collected from a roof even in drought years. The equation commonly used for estimating volume of usable water on a roof is 1-inch of water pelting a 1,000-square-foot roof yields approximately 600 gallons of water!

Rain Barrel Benefits

Compost Happens!

Composting is the decomposition of plant remains and other once-living materials to make an earthy, dark, crumbly substance that is excellent fora dding to houseplants or enriching garden soil. It is the way to recycle your yard and kitchen wastes, and is a critical step in reducing the voloume of garbage needlessly sent to landfills for disposal. Tumbling composters work faster than holding units, providing needed oxygen and aerobic bacteria to break materials down faster. It's easy to learn how to comost.
