HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

TLC's Annual Celebration

Doug Elliott

Come join TLC at our Annual Celebration Brunch on January 25, 2015 at D’Andrea Banquet, Crystal Lake, to recognize another exceptional year of conservation in McHenry County; oak trees and native shrubs planted, acorns gathered, land preserved, Art of the Land celebrated—all through the generous support of our members and hard work of many dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers.

This year’s featured speaker is Doug Elliott, who is a naturalist, herbalist, humorist and storyteller from Union Mills, NC.  Doug Elliott will take you on a journey through America’s rural country as he performs a lively collection of tales, legends, stories, folklore and personal narratives.

Get Involved with TLC

There are a variety of ways to help TLC preserve the natural, scenic and agricultural lands that make McHenry County so attractive, and that provide such a high quality of life to its residents.

As a small organization, TLC relies upon the work of volunteers, the financial support of members, as well as the decisions that private property owners make to preserve their land.
