Let us Present to Your Group

Is your service organization, school or social club looking for a speaker for an upcoming event? The Land Conservancy is happy to work with you to arrange a speaker on one of a variety of topics, including:

  • Project Quercus. TLC’s program to help preserve the region’s oak-hickory woodlands for the enjoyment of future generations.
  • TLC Overview. The Land Conservancy was founded over 20 years ago, and since that time has preserved over 2,100 acres of land working with individuals & communities. We’d be happy to give your group an overview of the history and current programs.
  • Conservation Easements. This is a powerful legal tool that allows landowners to control future development of their property while permitting them to continue to use and enjoy the land as they do today.
  • Conservation@Home.  C@H is an education and recognition program for homeowners who support water conservation and land protection efforts.

Presentations can range from 15-45 minutes in length – depending on the length you desire – and are intended for an adult audience. Please contact Lisa to arrange for someone to speak to your group.

We do occasional programs for youth groups – please call if you have something in mind. We’ll do our best to help. 815-337-9502.
