Have you ever wanted to learn about chainsawing, but just don’t know where to get started?
Join us at Hennen Conservation Area, 4622 Dean Street, Woodstock on Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 9 am to 2:30 pm, as we guide you through the basics and give you hands-on experience.
TLC’s Ecologist, Melissa Grycan, will introduce the participants to personal protective equipment, basic chainsaw maintenance, and the development of technique to safely fell a tree and cut it up. This course is tailored toward beginners who have never used a chainsaw. This workshop will be held both indoors and outdoors, so dress accordingly.
